Or at least I want to.
The weather was wonderful today. It rained this morning on the way to work but around lunchtime the sky cleared up and it was so nice out. The view was amazing from our building. It looked so pretty with the blue sky (as opposed to the normal, dreary sky). I worked this morning from 9am - 5:30pm. Long day. Last day of work for the week so that is great! I basically did research on potential clients for about 6 hours. It was so tedious. The company has this really intense database that has information on virtually any company or business in the world. I looked even up Edwards Drive In and it was on there. Must be the big time, huh? Mostly, I was researching the number of employees and the turnover of each company. The spreadsheet I am building in excel has over 1000 companies. I really do not know if I can handle a career where I have to sit at a desk all day. I literally got up like 10 times today to go to the bathroom, or fill my water glass, or blow my nose. I could not handle just sitting still for so long. Next Monday, I will be going with my boss, Lucette, to another office we have referred to as "The View". We'll be meeting potential clients. They use this office because of the "wow factor" of the view, they say. It overlooks some of the Olympic sites for the 2012 Games. I am so excited to see it! Hopefully it lives up to my expectations!
The other intern, Colleen works on Wednesdays, too. Our bosses took us out for lunch today. We went to a place around the corner from our office called "Reebok Cafe". Yes, it's named after the sporting apparel clothing line. It was really good. I'm still not really sure what I ordered though. It was a trio of grilled fish, but there a sidedish of something, that I honestly do not know what it was. It was yellow beans and a sauce. It's hard to explain. Of course, I just acted like I knew what I was doing even though I had no idea what I was eating.
After I got off at 5:30pm I came back to Harrow and had dinner in my flat with my other flatmates. Now I am just relaxing and hopefully going to bed early. I'm quite tired. I think I have decided I am going to be perpetually tired until I arrive back in America. That's just how it is going to be.

Intro to Branding is not going to be as difficult as I originally thought. Our grade is solely based on one paper we turn in, in Decemeber. The stuff he lectures about is all material I am very familiar with. That's making me feel pretty good about this class. We have to write a 3,000 word essay analyzing a brand. I'm pretty excited about it actually. I think it will be cool to research a UK brand that I am unfamiliar with. We'll see.
After class, I walked to Tesco (supermarket) and grabbed a few things. It was about a 20 minute walk, but it takes that long waiting for a bus and it wasn't raining out so I decided to walk. I just picked up some fresh fruits and veggies, lunchmeat, milk, bread, hummus and guacamole. I literally only had peach yogurt, mayo, ranch, granola and two slices of bread. People go to the grocery every week or even multiple times a week so everything expires so much sooner. It's probably also because the food is healthier without as many preservatives that make it last longer. Regardless, I have to start going to the grocery more often.
I have an internship module that is required to get credit for the class. It's a large waste of time because everyone is the class in American and mostly juniors. We have all had jobs or internships before. It's just a generic class that no one wants to be in. It would be more beneficial if I could spend that time at my office actually learning something cool, instead of in some joke of a class doing mock interviews (that no one actually does anyway). Xanthy (once again, you don't say "Professor" or "Doctor"...that is taking some getting used to) said she will try and amend the class so it's more beneficial...is it bad if I hope that means cancelling it?
