Lazy Sunday
It was relaxation day and finishing up the to-do list. Needless to say, I didn't get everything finished. I think the list is about 3x as long as the original list now. That's alright. It will all get done eventually. I went to the supermarket in the afternoon. It was about a 20 minute walk. It was quite nice outside. I loved getting to see the area I will be living in for the next few months. The whole experience of grocery shopping for myself was new too me. At Butler, since I live in a sorority, I have never really had to grocery shop before. I went to a store called, Tesco. It was very busy. I will never go on a Sunday afternoon again. Ridiculous. It didn't help that I was unfamiliar with the brands and what certain products were called. For example, some salad dressings are called "salad creams." That just sounds disgusting. Ewww. I got a week's worth of food for a 22 pounds. Pretty good I thought. We'll see.
Monday at Orientation,Camden Markets and the Tower Bridge
We had University of Westminster orientation in the morning. Very boring because it was basically the exact same lecture we had from IFSA-Butler orientation. It took 5 hours. Not enjoyable.
After orientation was finally over, we walked to Camden Markets. It was about a 45 minute walk. We walked through Regents Park. The weather was perfect for the walk. Here's a few photos of the park.
